Since 2000, Mr. Haining has served as Managing Director, EMEA, heading sales and operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. With over 20 years experience in the financial industry, he has worked on trading desks for several major banks. At BNP, Midland Bank and Credit Lyonnais, he was responsible for the structuring and distribution of structured fixed income and equity derivatives. At SEB, he was head of fixed income derivative trading and sales in London. He began his financial career as a journalist, writing for trade journals in finance, economics and politics. He has a BSC (Hon) in Economics from University of Hull.
