Your mission, should you choose to accept it (required for sales/pre-sales/FEs): develop and deliver a 30-second description of why a potential client should be interested in Numerix. The idea is designed around the thought that you have about the time of an elevator ride to get someone's interest or else lose their attention.
The pitch should be concise, carefully planned, and well-practiced, covering
Who you are
What the product does
Why the client needs the product
When it's your turn, you will be given at random a specific type of client, based on the industry or role categories from the Solutions page of the Numerix website.

Video Contest
After an overwhelming response to last year's contest, the Video Contest returns for another round of mischief and mayhem. All videos will be presented and voted on at the awards dinner on Thursday evening. Oh, yeah — there's significant money at stake here for the winner, so give it your best shot.
Last Year's Runner-Up:
Official Rules and Bylaws:
It must be entertaining — lame submissions will be ridiculed mercilessly
Participation among business groups is encouraged (individual submissions are okay, too, especially if performed while wearing a giant sombrero)
The video should be no longer than 3 minutes. After all, it's hard to be truly funny for that long, unless you're the boss and people HAVE to laugh.
Once you commit, you're in. Cancellations will be subject to a $100 penalty which will be added to the prize money.
Commitment Deadline: December 17, 2009 Video Submission Deadline: January 4, 2010
