Whether you voted for him, against him or didn't have a dog in the hunt, Donald J. Trump is slated to be the 45th President of the United States of America. Beyond the political fanfare and resulting endless news cycles since the vocal businessman turned president elect's victory, there are a lot of "big league" questions for the capital markets regulation in its wake.

Download this Numerix Partner Research White Paper from Sanjay Sharma and Jeb Beckwith of GreenPoint Global, Basel Under Trump: What, How and Will the U.S. Election Impact Global Regulation?, and receive a recording of our Live Stream discussion with them on the topic.

The video discussion and paper address these questions:

  • Does a Trump victory spell the decline of coordinated, global financial regulation by the BCBS, particularly its most recent rule-making initiatives?
  • What does U.S. participation in the BCBS currently look like?
  • How can a new Trump administration implement change?
  • When will changes occur?
  • What are the implications to the global regulatory framework if the U.S. does not implement existing BCBS directives, including the FRTB, as proscribed?
