Numerix Retains Top 10 Ranking in Chartis RiskTech100 2022

Chartis RiskTech100® 2022 Ranks Numerix #10 and Category Winner for Best XVA Analytics

Numerix, the leader in risk technology, today is proud to announce its inclusion in the Chartis RiskTech100® 2022, the annual ranking of the world’s leading players in risk technology, and globally acknowledged as the most comprehensive independent study of the world’s major players in risk and compliance technology. Numerix has been ranked #10 overall and won the individual award for Best XVA Analytics.

“In 2021 firms have sought to strengthen their technology weaknesses that were exposed during the market crisis of March 2020 and are now, more than ever, prepared to take advantage of impactful new technologies,” said Steve O’Hanlon, CEO of Numerix. “Having been on the leading edge of cloud technology for over ten years, our software has evolved from live on Microsoft Azure to being cloud agnostic. Today Numerix is hosting and managing its flagship trading and risk management software Numerix Oneview in the cloud using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model and has a fully cloud native architecture.”

Numerix also continues to invest in NxCore Cloud, its cloud-based development environment that leverages its award-winning analytics and the Python ecosystem. This initiative prioritizes user needs around analytics flexibility and has helped to further transform the client experience.

“Numerix continues to grow and evolve, and has executed well,” said Sid Dash, Research Director at Chartis. “As reflected in its category win, its xVA presence remains strong, enabling it to secure growth in an often challenging market environment.”

Numerix’s impressive showing in this year’s rankings is due in large part to its innovations across the following areas:

  • New cloud innovations in Numerix Oneview, including SaaS delivery and cloud native technologies.
  • Rapid adoption of NxCore Cloud, a Python development environment managed on AWS that enables users to build apps and ad hoc analyses.
  • Continued acceleration and delivery of Risk Free Rate (RFR) analytics to support firms with their LIBOR transitions.
  • Enhancements in Oneview’s next-generation market risk module.
  • Comprehensive FRTB analytics in partnership with ActiveViam.
  • Advanced regulatory and trading functionality for XVAs, especially for pre-trade XVAs and XVA Greeks.
  • R&D and technology innovation across several new areas including indices, market data, cryptocurrencies, and energy modeling.
