Now Accepting Applications: Numerix’s 2026 Women in Finance Scholarship
Today, we are thrilled to officially kick-off the application period for our 2026 Women in Finance Scholarship.
As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering the next generation of female finance leaders, Numerix will award a $20,000 scholarship to one outstanding graduate student pursuing a career in finance. Women who qualify are invited to apply via our online application portal. Applications will be accepted from March 30 through May 4, 2026.
Empowering Women in Finance
For 12 years, the Women in Finance Scholarship has helped elevate aspiring female leaders in the financial industry. It is geared specifically to women advancing their education with the goal of launching a career in financial asset management, market risk management, structured finance, fixed-income, and derivatives within the capital markets. Originally established by FINCAD, the scholarship has been led by Numerix since the company’s acquisition in 2023.
“The Women in Finance Scholarship represents more than financial support,” commented Helen He, Manager of Financial Engineering at Numerix and leader of the scholarship selection committee. “It reflects our commitment to expanding access to opportunity and ensuring that talented women have the resources and encouragement needed to thrive in quantitative finance.”
2025 Scholarship Winner: Isha Patro
Last year’s scholarship winner, Isha Patro, a native of India, is applying her $20,000 award toward earning a Master’s in Financial Engineering at New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering. Coming from a background in computer science and fixed income markets, Isha aims to build a career in quantitative research and develop global investment solutions that expand access to international markets.
“This scholarship changed everything for me. Without it, NYU wouldn’t have been possible. Now I can fully focus on my studies and take advantage of opportunities I never would have had time for otherwise—it’s the difference between surviving college and thriving in it.”
How to Apply
Numerix’s $20,000 Women in Finance scholarship opportunity is open to women of any citizenship who have less than ten years’ work experience and less than five years of professional experience in the financial field. Eligible candidates must be studying finance in a graduate-level program at an accredited institution and must be pursuing or planning to pursue a career in financial asset management, market risk management, structured finance, fixed-income, and derivatives within the capital markets.
