Numerix’s Loveness Rusike Named Financial Technology Leader of the Year by FTF News
We are thrilled to announce that Loveness Rusike, SVP, Global Head of Professional Services, Numerix, has been honored as Financial Technology Leader of the Year in the 2025 FTF News Technology Innovation Awards. This distinguished award recognizes one visionary leader who has driven transformative innovation in financial technology, championing key initiatives and inspiring progress across the industry.
On Loveness’ award win, her colleague, Christian Kahl, Chief Customer Officer at Numerix, offered his thoughts. “Loveness is never afraid to question the status quo, adopt, improve and pivot if needed. She always expects and demands the highest level of professionalism from herself, her team and her colleagues, leading by example, empathy and empowerment. Having worked with Loveness for several years, there was not a moment when she wasn't ready to take on and master the next level of leadership.”
Celebrating a Trailblazing Leader

Loveness began her financial career at tier-one banks before transitioning to the fintech vendor space, joining FINCAD (later acquired by Numerix) in 2018. She quickly stood out for her strategic insight and leadership, initially establishing the firm’s first Project Management Office (PMO) for client services. In this role, she introduced standardized best practices, developed key operational materials, and implemented performance reporting metrics shared at the executive level.
Loveness’ leadership trajectory accelerated when she was promoted to Global Head of Client Services, and later, SVP of Customer Experience & Digital Transformation. “Persistence, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning are the core principles that guide me—both professionally and personally,” remarked Loveness. “This award is not just a personal honor, but a reflection of the incredible team I’m privileged to work with every day. I deeply value the opinions and diverse perspectives of those I lead, knowing they enrich every decision we make together.”
Following Numerix’s acquisition of FINCAD in 2023, Loveness was entrusted with building the Customer Success function from the ground up, in addition to leading Client Services. Without hesitation, she took on the challenge—establishing a global strategy, developing KPIs and OKRs, creating team structures and stakeholder relationships, and building a cross-regional team across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
“Throughout my career, I’ve thrived in client-facing roles, where every day brings a new conversation or challenge—and that keeps the work incredibly engaging. At Numerix, the customer is truly at the heart of everything we do, and having the opportunity to build the customer success organization from scratch was both a privilege and a defining moment in my growth.”
Loveness went on to remark, “Often I’m questioned about how I navigate being a female executive in a field that is largely male dominated. My answer and my mission are simple. Instead of competing, I strive to complement, meaning I work diligently to collaborate and understand others’ perspectives, knowing I bring something unique and valuable to the table, just as they do.”
Leading Innovation Through Change
Over the past year, Loveness successfully launched and scaled Numerix’s Customer Success program, driving measurable impact on customer value realization, net/gross retention, and overall client satisfaction. This new function not only demonstrated clear ROI but became an engine for proactive client engagement and long-term loyalty.
In late 2023, Loveness took on yet another leadership role as Head of Professional Services, overseeing global delivery for all client projects. Under her direction, the organization was restructured to better align with customer expectations and internal strategic goals. Her empathetic approach and openness to embracing change were critical as Numerix navigated the complexities of integrating three major acquisitions in just two years.
“At Numerix, one of our key company values is ‘the power of one,’ meaning every team member’s voice across the organization is valuable,” explained Loveness. “This value truly aligns with my personal belief in the importance of community and collaboration. As our company has grown through the acquisitions of FINCAD, PolyPaths, and Kynex, I’ve had the unique opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives, company cultures, and talents. This experience has enriched my leadership style—teaching me to adapt agilely, listen deeply, and embrace innovation from every corner of our organization. In a fast-evolving industry like fintech, being open to new perspectives isn’t just valuable—it’s essential.”
A Commitment to Clarity
Loveness is known for her unwavering commitment, strategic clarity, and ability to lead through complexity. She balances high expectations with deep empathy, mentoring global teams and fostering accountability by leading from the front.
Loveness’ authenticity and integrity have earned the trust of colleagues, clients, and stakeholders across the capital markets ecosystem. “In terms of the core values I bring to my work every day—the top ones are integrity and discipline. I lead with integrity in everything I do, whether it’s guiding my team, working with clients, or making decisions in my personal life. I strive to set high standards, and while I may be tough, I always strive to be fair. I encourage my team to lead with the same values, knowing that a strong foundation of integrity drives lasting success.”
Please join us in congratulating Loveness on this well-deserved recognition!
