About the session:

In this session, Hongjian Zhou, Sales Director, China, interviews Longbo Zhao, Pre-Sales Engineer, North East Asia, who provides an overview of the structured deposits market in China and shares some insights on how banks can more effectively manage the pricing and risk of these products.


Hongjian Zhou, Sales Director - China, Numerix 

Hongjian is the Sales Director for Numerix’s Chinese territory, responsible for new business development, customer relationship maintenance and existing client support. Before joining Numerix, Hongjian was the Sales Director for FIS in China. Hongjian graduated from Dalian Maritime University with a major in electrical technology.

Longbo Zhao, Pre-sales Consultant, North East Asia, Numerix

Longbo Zhao is a presales consultant at Numerix and partners with the North Asia sales team in serving banks and institutional clients in the Greater China region. He focuses on financial modeling and quantitative analytics and has led multiple projects related to model validations and products.

Prior to joining Numerix, Longbo worked in the department of credit risks at the Agricultural Bank of China. He graduated with a master’s degree in financial mathematics from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Longbo also holds double bachelor’s degrees in business and mathematics from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
